Dear Earlham Cardinal Families,
I’m honored to serve as the principal of Earlham Elementary School. It is great to be a part of a community where students, teachers, and parents care for each other and strive to build meaningful relationships that support academic and social-emotional growth.
Our elementary school serves all 4-year old preschool students through 5th grade. Our goal is to serve students through varied curriculums that includes a balanced reading approach of whole group, small group and writing using Making Meaning and Footprints reading curriculum materials. For math we use the Everyday Mathematics curriculum. In Science we use Amplify Science curriculum and Social Studies is built in cross-curricular. During the school week, students will attend Physical Education, Music, Art, Technology, Guidance and Library classes. Each student, grades K-5, have a 1:1 iPad. Students work on our PBIS core values of Respect, Responsibility and Proud to be an Earlham Cardinal. Our students also learn through varied field trip opportunities or in person events such as Literacy Nights, STEM Nights and Concerts.
